Our first destination: Voy Plaza Virtual!

Voy Plaza a Latino music portal recently launched (on 11-8-07) a very cool web app for Latinos: Voy Plaza Virtual , a virtual world where Latinos can dance, chat, listen to Latin music and watch Latino videos, and it's all free! Think of it as Second Life for Latinos!

Personally I think its best to attempt to live your life to the fullest in your First Life as much as possible, but I think I understand the appeal. Perhaps you're not the coolest cat in your first life, in a virtual world you can be as cool as Daddy Yankee. Can't dance very well in real life? Well you can be the baddest b-boyer (break dancer) in a virtual world. Your dating life sucks in the real world? Well, you can be Brad or Angelina (or both!!) in a virtual world.

So perhaps I shouldn't knock it until I try it. Or, on second thought, maybe I should just concentrate on our continued exploration of the Latino cyber universe!
